Ana Cueto was awarded the Guido Altarelli Award for her experimental research on final-state photons, and for advancing in effective field theory interpretations, precision tests of QCD and the Standard Model. 

The Guido Altarelli Award honours the memory of the late Guido Altarelli, one of the founding fathers of QCD, an outstanding communicator of particle physics, and a mentor and strong supporter of Junior Scientists. It is awarded to Junior Scientists (one experimental, one theoretical) for outstanding scientific contributions to the fields covered by the "Deep Inelastic Scattering and Related Subjects" conference series.
